2017 EXHIBITIONS, FCS WITH A SINGLE DAY PREPARATION

Students from the Department of Food, Nutrition and Consumer sciences DFTNCS conducted an EXHIBITIONS held at SUA main campus, MULTI PURPOSE HALL. basically all the demonstrators and presenters did a quite good job with a surprising demonstrations made by the Family and Consumer students who had one day and one night day to prepare themselves to show the audience what real is FAMILY AND CONSUMER STUDIES

INFANT AND YOUNG CHILDREN FEEDING

The first 1000 days of life starting from the start of pregnancy to the child’s second birthday are important for optimal growth, health and development. Therefore, thus is a crucial period for effective infant and young child feeding interventions. Poor feeding practices in infancy and early childhood, resulting in malnutrition, contribute significantly to morbidity delayed mental and motor development, poor school performance and reduced productivity in later life.

✷ FINALIST SPECIAL PROJECT EXHIBITION 2017

After a long  period of preparations, studies and hard works, the final year students from department of FOOD, NUTRITION AND CONSUMER SCIENCES are ready for their products exhibition of what they had been doing.
 
The event itself is going to be held on 20th of May 2017.  so far we are expecting to learn a lot from what they had been doing, view their products and their interventions. the likely products expected are, NUTRITIONAL PRODUCTS, FOOD PRODUCTS with special exhibitions of FASHION PRODUCTS from designers from the Bsc. FAMILY AND CONSUMER STUDIES.

Special call to continuing students to attend the event on the day mentioned so as to learn what is on their future with respect to their field of study, Speakers from the Department  and invited guests are expected to feed the audience with knowledge, experience and motivation in their respective carriers.
